Credit Score facts and fallacies

Fallacy: During credit score evaluation, my privacy is breached!
Fact: Credit scoring examines the information that is already studied by lenders. This information consists of the credit bureau report, credit application and/or your bank file. This score is a mere numerical form of the same information. Lenders using scoring sometimes ask for less information - fewer questions on the application form, etc.
